I think the point of it all is that it will lower the costs associated with running the bank. It will end up lowering the number of employees that the banks need to employ due to the automated features that will be possible with the new setup. Lower labor costs and time savings equals more money for the banks and share holders. This isn't hard to understand but the fuddies want you to think your low IQ take is relevant.
