Utah Goldbacks. Nevada makes them now too.
They're a meme but yeah, it's 24k gold leaf that increases in weight as the face value increases too. Again, they are a meme and not worth buying for stacking purposes. I liked the way they looked and judging by the "Liberty Dollar" fiasco a few years back I'd wager they'll be worth something to collectors down the road.

No doubt the premiums on these are retarded but you're dealing with such small amounts of money anyway - that's kind of the point of the Goldback in the first place.

The way i see it, pre-33 gold seal notes sometimes sell for hundreds depending on serial numbers and condition. These have actual gold in them and the Secret Service aint going to let this continue for long. I'm confident the collector value is going to be retarded in as little as 10 years.

No, and it says so on each bill. Utah passed a state law allowing the voluntary acceptance of alternate currencies. These are legal in Utah only, and only at shops voluntarily participating in the program.

Still if you live outside Utah there's nothing stopping you from using these to settle private debts, but no stores are going to accept them outside of coin shops and WE BUY GOLD pawn shops. It's also a nice proof-of-concept for the US Treasury to follow - maybe we should suggest that?
