Damn can you imagine retarded bozos that sold/shorted during the last dump, they must feel so retarded now

can anyone advise me on spending money on indulging oneself? i changed some of my attitudes last year, resulting in a change in my spending habits, resulting in me having more available money, one the same level of income. I wish to purchase something which costs around 750 dollars. Can anyone give me numbers on income/saving ratios that should be realized and austerity (time spent not spending anything to accumulate more savings) periods, how long should they be? as an example, I buckled down about four months ago, and saw my savings rise quite a bit. so in essence, i have not indulged in several months. any thoughts on leveraging reward psychology?
