ive been in and out since 2011, full time in crypto since last summer, unfortunately didnt make a million, had a rocky path. got a house, some rental property, multi month travel vacations, work on web projects making around what wagies make but without any real work schedule tho i enjoy working.

id join a discord or something. im a 30 years old boomer so not as hyper as the new money zoomers. traveling through singapore/japan at the start of the year for a few months vacation. wouldnt mind meeting others.

I feel ya, I came to accept where we're at currently and know even the scams/ponzis/normies/hypecycles are helping push things forward. Its going to take a shitload of money and people to push things to where its more mainstream, we need more entry points in crypto and actual use cases where its better than fiat and they do exist.

>inexperienced dev/staff
>constant ddos / hacker attempts
>hot wallet is hacked and regularly siphoned
>finally hacked for half a billion
>manipulates the exchange trying to get the half a billion back
>people start trying to withdraw
>karpeles delays everything trying to find a way out
>users begin complaining to the gov begging for regulation to recoup their $100 investments
>karpeles just throws up his hands and stops everything and files for bankruptcy in JP when the US starts considering to try to extradite him

Req and Link are like siblings, although the fate of one is somewhat tied to the other (Req would ideally like a functioning LINK). Good projects, but again, look at marketcap of everything. I hear people saying stuff like, TRON is the V2.0 of internet and will be 100eoy... it has like 30 billion coins...
So understand the possibilities in terms of the overall market valuations.
Under the radar picks? nothing is under the radar anymore seito. We have an abundance of problem solving blockchain companies (more than half of which do not need currencies). The real moon missions are from 2-3 cents (10 cents for some ico but usually you can buy lower) to 1$ and beyond. EOS, NEO... these are projects that have value, and we have unfortunetly missed the vast majority of gains on.. We would need to see re-allocation of precious crypto cap to see these guys gain much more.
BTC is the trailblazer, the first mover, the ultimate crypto. It even sounds like digital gold. Talking about the name reminds me of how in the movie 'the founder', Kroc says the name "mcdonalds" was really what drew him in.
BTC is only coin allowed to break the logic barrier of investing.

Been in crypto on and off since 2011. Beginning of 2014 I sold and got distracted working full time + at a tiny startup that eventually failed. A lot of people held through those times I guess talked amongst themselves on bitcointalk and reddit. There was not a lot of people into it even though a little media attention but after the crash started everyone like left all corners of the cryptosphere.

It will be okay, anon.
Take profit during gains, hold during dips.

lol so true

People are either lying about having not been there, or were only there for the good times.

Lol if the only 'crash' you remember is the Vitalik death hoax, you are new anons.
