Not much, it's pretty straight forward. You just need to take a 160 hour dog walking course and pass the final exam. After that you just need to pass a psychometric, medical and psychological test and you obtain the Dog Walking License. Then you'll need at least 80 hours of provable experience walking dogs plus a practical exam (very easy one) to get your Professional Dog Walking Permit, which will let you walk dogs as a professional activity. When you have that you register as Self-Employed at the HMRC and join you local Dog Walkers Association. Once you're done you just need an insurance, that will probably be provided by the Dog Walking Association. That's it!
