I mean that's not even that bad. PMI data is known to fluctuate like that. If you wanna see bad PMI data, look at Germany... yet, it is at ATH.
Of course, China is a bit different. Nobody expects anything when it comes to Germany. Deliver some products, don't fugg up too hard, and you ought to be fine. But when it comes to China, expectations are on a whole different level. Unless China delivers stunning data (and they should considering their data for the past two years have been nothing short of terrible because of their covid policy), the market will see it as a sign of global weakness.
And there I go again, yet another rant. I should take a break from this schizo market
