If you take your baby to a thrift store and say you don't have any money for baby clothes, whoever's working there will give you some for free. They might even insist on giving you more. The state will pay for baby food. The state will pay for healthcare. If you buy some cloth diapers and own your own laundry machine you can save a pretty penny on that, too.

Really a baby shouldn't cost more than a couple grand for an entire year of rearing. Dress them in hand-me-downs and thrift store clothes until just before puberty if you want them to fuck, or keep them in thrift clothes until they move out or make their own money if you don't want them fucking.
