I actually looked at the patina on the sides for a confirmation on the authenticity of the bowl, rather than focusing on the shiny. Not really applicable to bars and coins most of the time but tarnish, milk spots and patina are a good indication when they're there.

Only from the bottom, and not even that shiny in person actually. The patina is important to me!

Highly doubt it. You won't find a masterpiece like this anytime soon, just the handicraft itself is a sign to an untrained eye that this is worth something. You might find some sterling cutlery or plates or candlesticks or the like though, heck you might even find silver coins

But I have 103oz silver and a sterling silver bowl too. What'a wrong with chasing profits once you're sufficiently comfy with your stack?

Checked. Yeah when the public wakes up there will be bank runs and runs for precious metals. No way to control the markets at that point anymore. That's what I believe at least.

>Also, hey bowl anon. How is the latest thing you added to it?
Hi. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. I haven't bought physical since October. I'm happy with my current 102oz + sterling bowl stack for now and I'm homing in on mining companies for some gains. If shit goes down I'll manage but if the status quo keeps going for years it's better to chase profits.

Everybody needs some kind of stupid pm thing they own. I for one will probably never want to sell this beauty. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes!

CCW is making an effort (I think?) but it just seems like they're having a hard time actually hitting mineralization. Difficult to understand deposit, plus it's deep underground at around 500m. Expensive, time-consuming drilling to do. Hell they might just have 100Moz Ag and a bunch of cobalt down there but if they can't define mineralization or if it takes them years just to come out with M&I resources it just won't be worth holding when there're so many other better, safer, some even severely undervalued plays out there. I thought it through logically and sold even though I was getting a little attached. Good riddance but good luck to you anon, hopefully they find more of that highest-grade-in-the-galaxy silver. Love the way those drill core samples look, total core porn!

Sprott is all over. There are great plays he hasn't invested in. Although I will say that Sprott investment is always kind of like an endorsement, a seal of approval by an industry veteran so it's good to have, like a cherry on top. But it's not what I base my investments on.

I'm actually not a fan of them just because I like .999/.9999 coins much more (Old silver markka's have a very low silver concentration, like 35%, later markka coins don't even have silver in them except commemorative coins). Silver Markka coins are very plentiful and available though, easy to get via internet auctions.
I guess I could scout a bit and see if I can cop a few for a cheap price, just for you anon. Or maybe I could go ask my grandparents, I'm sure they still have some around. Pic related is my latest purchase and it was a huge hit to my wallet so I'll try and hold off on physical purchases for a while at least. Maybe I'll buy more next year, I could get some Markka's then

Beautiful. I wonder who still has the skill to craft these statues. One would think that craftmanship like that is starting to die out. I certainly haven't seen many of those so-called modern "artists" create sculptures, statues or decorative silverware like pic related

>We have increased the capacity of our #silver flotation circuit to allow for processing at an “as mined” tonnage of 200 tons per day.
Well yeah that's the production goal but aren't they still producing just 50t per day? They haven't updated on production at all since and that's a bad sign. They know investors want production so why wouldn't they report on great production ramp up results if they had successfully ramped up?
>>23914162
>No real gold focused compagny since silver always follow gold
Eehh, not always. Since 2011 gold has put more and more distance in the GSR ratio, although that too can be viewed as a bullish sign for silver of course. Gold will of course go up steadily while silver has the potential to spike like no other so it's a matter of preference I guess.
>6 positions is the max I can afford without being too stretched, your position's size are important so having just a few hundred dollars everywhere won't make it, focus is needed.
fuck fuck fuck I HATE IT
I want to have a piece of all the pies! They all look so delicious!! Fuck!!!
I guess I'll have to really think about which stonks I want to have a position in. It's always nice to have a hundred or two bucks in a speculative play but you're right I guess, with limited budget comes limited choice. Will have to think really hard about my main positions,,,
>5 Silver stock and 1 last for another play. uranium being the best play after PM, I'm searching for a single levered U-stock. You can do kind of the same if your physical foundation is enough.
I'm honestly fine with my 102oz stack and beautiful Sterling piece right now. It's more the abundance of choice that's fucking with me. Will have to learn about the differences of uranium mining compared to pm's and base metals, as well as what grades are good and whatnot when I have the time.

Fuck I wish I had like a good 10k to invest. Sucks to be a poorfag.

This is my first junk purchase. She weighs a bit over 760g, full sterling, 25cm in diameter, cost me exactly 500€ so it was just a bit over spot, although that's a price I'm willing to pay for a beauty like this. Managed to begin sparking a relationship with the seller, super cool guy with tons of junk silver all around that buys them from auctions and friends. Knowledgeable and professional too -- said this piece looks distinctly Portugalian and that he Röntgen scanned it to ensure it's sterling. Had similar pieces but I'm too poor so I'll just buy some more from him later probably

Another anon asked me to fill it with Werther's toffees but I'd have to buy a bunch to fill this baby up
