as long as euthanasia remains an option and the tech doesn't literally trap you in bodily existence, then your philosophical objection falls flat on its face. Have some courage and admit that death is an enemy, body degradation is a tragedy, and there's absolutely no moral value to having a catastrophic stroke or heart failure. You're sucking up to the grim reaper out of Stockholm Syndrome, not because he's your friend or offers you anything of moral substance. Any 'good life' that can be squeezed into eight or so decades, can be lived even more fully in a dozen(s of) decades.
