My wife is frugal to an insane degree. She literally dumpster dives. Brings home free shit all the time! She works 2 jobs as a hotel maid and grocery store stocker just so she can bring home free stuff. I'm sure she shoplifts as well. She calls me at work to come QUICK and pick up abandoned furniture, kek; sometimes she waits there hours "protecting it". She gets mad at me when I buy new things for our kids because she could have gotten it hand-me-down. We bring in almost $160k/yr net now while spending less than $40k. She refuses to spend more than $2k/month on rent. We could buy any house right now, cash, but the idea gives her extreme anxiety.
