I am 20 y/o living in Australia, and I would love to open and run a bar in the future sometime. I have worked hospitality for many years and know the business quite well already, as so I should.

I would like to know /biz/'s opinion on opening and running a bar? Specifically a more cocktail/specialised drinks smooth bar? Has anyone here got any experience in the field of bar running/owning? And what a prospective business owner should know before going ahead?
