lol Maxime Bernier's new party just sent me a certificate of my status as a "founding member" of the People's Part of Canada. I dunno if Bernier's party will even have a candidate for me to vote for in the next election but it's cute anyway.

Bernier is the guy who should have won the election for leader of the Canadian conservative party. Instead due to a technicality and some shenanigans, milktoast Andrew Scheer won instead. Bernier left the conservative party shortly afterward to start a new one of his own.
