>Everyone is dumping the dollar
may I see them?

>Hyperinflation
There is a difference between high inflation and hyperinflation. We are not quite so far gone that some of the former will necessarily proceed to the latter.

If payments are made with bonds not intended to be repaid in real terms is it really an "oversimplification"? You are right in a sense but the difference is, USD is for the time being the world reserve currency. So there is artificial extra demand beyond what would come from our production. And because of this, yes, to an extent we can just issue USD and tell everyone else to eat it because they hold a shitload of our bonds too. Is that sustainable? No. But it doesn't follow the dynamics a non-USD country would.

The situation has already been contained so nobody cares anymore. It's that simple. M8, this is MSFT we are talking about. The single most prosperous company on the stock market. It's a fuckin impenetrable fortress that could buy up the entire European continent. A bit overexaggerated but you get my point.

Hah, I remember when some bobobros were rambling about how Apple was gonna fall to hell since apparently nobody buys smartphones anymore and that the consumer was gonna get crushed and nobody would buy Apple stuff.
Look at Walmart, Amazon, and so on... the average consumer today would rather cut off his beniz than stop consuming.

Call it service inflation. As someone who worked in forestry (i.e., a service targeting boomers), do you have any idea how much the earnings and profits increased? They increased prices like crazy (50%+) all the while blaming the inflation. There is a reason it's called greedflation. Everyone is trying to be greedy and get as much as humanly possible from the other.
Simple apartment cleaning and it'll cost you about the same as the rent for an entire month, kek.
This price gouging is why I really hope the central banks will keep hiking but I know they won't
