The monero community is vastly better, with a focus on actually USING IT, whereas sumokoiners are moon-chasing pumper pajeets. Monero also crowdfunds postdoctoral researchers and their work is peer-reviewed and open source.
All that said, I worked out the other day that mining sumo was more profitable, but my math was probably fucked up. Like any hyped shitcoin, it can make you money if you're smart about it. DYOR.
