I did an 8 month stint in the FL state prison system. It really wasn't nearly as bad as what the youtube channels like fresh out or wes watson say it is (then again, each state varies wildly in culture as do the feds). I watched a lot of big herc before I went in and I'd say it did help a lot when it came to not letting myself be perceived as pushover and having people try to take advantage of me. Guys in there will test you at the beginning to see where you stand. You will have to stand up for yourself. But if you make it clear at the beginning that you're not a bitch, you won't ever get fucked with and your stay will be much easier. It's what happened to me.

Just two days into my stay, this dude about twice my size tried to swipe some food off my tray. I got up, confronted him about wtf he was doing, and then he asked me what am I going to do about it? I immediately lunged at him and tackled him. I got a few good hits on his face until he realized what was happening. He turned the tables and started beating the shit out of me and kicking me until the co's broke it up. Ended up having a horrible black eye, giant, swollen nigger lips, and broken nose. Despite getting my shit handed to me in front of everyone, I never got fucked with ever again. I've seen other new guys just back down after getting their shit swiped and then they get fucked with for the rest of their stay.

So no matter what stand up for yourself. Even if you lose a fight, the fact that you stand up for yourself will make people not want to fuck with you because it isn't worth the trouble. There are plenty of other bitches who won't make a scene that they'd prefer to steal from.

Once you get over that hurdle, you get into a routine and prison becomes boring. Some stretches fly by. At times it's also very boring. Use this time to improve yourself.

I also learned that prison rape is a myth. There's a variety of gay dudes inside willing to fuck each other and not cause issues.

The blog post was actually supposed to be released yesterday. It's been ready and waiting for some time, as Sergey spent half of March and most of April writing it in preparation for the big day. He kept it on an encrypted USB drive to prevent any leaks, but it seems that Rory misplaced it somewhere while cleaning the office. No one has been able to find it as of yet and Sergey isn't allowing anyone to write up a new post either, because "it won't be the same". The whole staff has been searching for it these past few days - they were even called in during the weekend. This is at a crucial time where Chainlink still needs to stress-test its systems and make a lot of final-moment bug fixes before going live. The delay is causing jobs to pile up on the pivotal, where the velocity has fallen to low single-digit numbers.

Rory is doing some damage control on Telegram by trying to make it seem like Sergey is still writing it, but we all know that he would've had something like that ready in advance. Time is running out fast and I'm afraid that by the time they do find the flashdrive (if ever), they will be hopelessly behind schedule and mainnet will be a massive flop as a result.

I sold 1/4 of my stack.

Enough so that if it keeps going up, and can enjoy some profits and keep riding; and if it dumps, i can buy more stinkies when we hit the 50-60 cent range again.
