yes it's real. how often you hear a cruise ship that 12 people die on of a flu? altought all were elderly. but it's not a great plaque or anything that kills 40% of population that would warrant lock downs. lock downs cause more long term damage and deaths too. there wont be vaccine
for it outside of news headlines, that truly works.
then logically you just let it go cause there is nothing you can do to minmize damage.

there are few reasons

1. real inflation rate in usa is measured to be around 5% now
2. mortgage payments are halted
3. housing price indecies do not take account repairement upkeep cost or newly built houses that both affect price index positively
