Well, also never forget that you've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run. Sometimes it is overall better to cut losses and reposition with what's left rather than lose more, but the proper call can be incredibly difficult to determine. I am not saying that you should do that now, because I am essentially relatively clueless as to how to time or measure the hit that tech "should" be taking, but Mike has said it a few times, that a lot of it is just propped up by speculators trying to buy the dips rather than fundamentals. You might at least be in for the wait on earnings to start rolling in again.
