Assuming 1 RSV is redeemable for $1 worth of assets there’s no logical reason why anybody would ever buy RSV for above a dollar. It’s a losing trade, it has no basis in game theory.

Now bagholders will tell you that in times of increased demand that RSV will trade above a dollar. That is very possible, demand shocks are real.

But the solution to that is to increase the supply of RSV, not try to make money off of arbitrage opportunities, because every dollar made through arbitrage represents a dollar LOST by users of RSV. Think about that for a second. If there is a billion dollars worth of arbitrage opportunities that represents a billion dollars worth of friction in the system.

It’s not a healthy Nash equilibrium. It’s not efficient. It’s not scalable. It has no users. It’s going to zero very soon.

If you could ban one coin from /biz/ what works I be? I say RSR, it is by far the most retarded shitcoin I’ve ever heard of. Try to discuss the flaws of the coin with then but the average holder has to have an IQ of around 75.

COME ON

1) RSV is not globally scalable because of its overcollateralized model of stabilization. It’s expensive to expand and requires locking up an unsustainable amount of assets, just like DAI.

2) Reserve has no way to enforce the price stabilization mechanism, redeeming RSR for RSV is strictly voluntary.

3) Since it’s asset backed it will be unable to ever move off a fiat price target

4) Stablecoin regulations are coming. The project is hilariously centralized and the fact they are launching on an mobile app and targeting normies instead of actual crypto users means it’s trivial to simply block them from the App Store and cut off the main user base. No, Juan from Venezuela won’t be using uniswap and metamask to pay for groceries.

I tried to swing trade this and went from 2 million RSR to 1.5 million. someone convince me to take the loss and accept defeat. It is very very hard. But I dont want to miss the next link either. What do!?
