so ive worked in construction my whole life, ironworking/steel erecting specifically. while i was one company i worked my way up into a managerial position being an on-site safety coordinator. this basically entailed getting my OSHA 30, and reading books of OSHA regulations, walking around the site making sure everything was up to OSHA spec and working alongside the general contractor to alleviate issues on site.

now, im fucking tired of construction and i wanted to get into behavioral health, drug addiction in particular since im in recovery myself. i already have a place interested in me working there but i need a resume.

as you can imagine resumes arent exactly needed for construction jobs ergo i do not have one. now my question:

how can i best translate my skillset from my safety managerial position onto my resume for a behavioral health position? any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I've been out of a job for a while and I'm kind of backed into a corner. I'm 22 and I've had two jobs so far(not counting a shitty retail job I worked one summer). One was in a dorm cafeteria, which I held for a couple years while in college. The other, a factory job I worked for about 4 months and quit last December because I was miserable. All I really want is some kind of low level office/clerical/data entry job to get my foot in the door, but even the entry level stuff seems to require at least 6 months of experience. I have a liberal arts degree(LOL) from a pretty good state school, but that doesn't seem to matter. I was thinking of putting some random company down and saying I worked in an office for awhile, but nothing too big, to boost my resume. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know the chances/consequences of getting caught?
