I’m only an NPC at my job I say the same thing over and over again hello ma’am or sir how are you did you find everything okay that’s good here you go have a wonderful day, and I repeat it over and over and over again everyday because I hate talking to people I’d rather be in the back working with stock and I get anxiety if I talk even if I say a one word sentence to anybody about anything I feel like I’m about to have a panic attack I just stick with the 4 sentences I have to say at work for the next six hours and then I can go back to being a quiet anon

Because HR are fucking parasites on the body of a company. They need constant flow of people through them to justify their existence.
Think about it. If HR were really good, they wouldn`t need at that scale in companies, because they fulfilled their role - find proper people for work.
But now HR could tell to the bosses - "Hey, do you see so much dumb people on the interviews? You really need (((me))) to find good one".
And because they are parasites they don`t want to tell truth and talk with people in honorable manner.

I live in Russia and there was a story. Some stupid 20 y.o. HR, who bragged about herself as she is a top-psychologist, throw away some guy on top-IT job, because he had small amount of friends on VK(russian facebook). And it was the ONLY reason.
After this story got in trending, bosses criticized guy inside that company who leaked this story and humiliated such "sweet and poor girl".
Later first guy got that job only because of interview with the team-lead of a project.
