there's no network congestion, they can't transfer your coins because they sold you coins they don't have. they run out and you get backlisted until they can cover it. now they're trying to catch up by disabling the buys.

mtgox fell because they were insolvent.
if you can, get your coins out now. it's probably too late though. i transferred my lat 80 bucks out. my offline wallet will probably never get it.

Which coins align with this the most?

I think Decred had a very good chance. Why?
1. Project lead gave a talk at Coinbase (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-jSlqwNpSM))
2. Charlie Lee is a big fan and actually an advisor (https://www.decred.org/contributors/))
3. Matches up very well with their asset framework. Didn't have an ICO, decentralized, highly capable and respected team, solid roadmap, self-funded, innovative governance system (specifically mentioned in the framework). It's like it was written for Decred.
4. Only problem is the lack of volume. But this is not a huge problem, because the act of adding it to Coinbase or GDAX will give it volume.

Will they add Ripple? It's technically not a crypto currency, so isn't regulation different on this coin?

What is the best crypto wallet to use? What wallets do you guys use? Out of every wallet I've read about there always seems to be fierce mixed feedback. How do you know how to separate the scams from the legit ones?

How does coinbase survive paying the bitcoin transaction fees? I don't get it.

I just withdrew $5 worth of bitcoin, and if you do it from your GDAX account, they 100% pay the transaction fee. $5 withdrawn, now $5 in my new wallet. The fee per byte was 1,004.444 sat/B for a total of 0.00226 that Coinbase paid in order to do the transfer.

If people wanna kill coinbase, just execute tons of tiny btc withdrawals from gdax and make them eat all the fees

I've been waiting for a good chance to buy some more coin and today is the day. I've only bought with with USD twice in the past and both times were from Coinbase.

Is there any reason I shouldn't use them again? I saw a lot of screeching about them going around with the release of Bitcoin Cash.

Also, would using the USD to purchase LTC be the best option do you think?

What is the best place to buy bitcoins? Coinbase wants to charge me 18 Euro from 500 Euro purchase (3,8%) with a debit card and I am not fond of this, I think this is way too high.

What the fuck is going on with Coinbase? Just purchased $300 of btc through Coinbase and after confirming it told me that I won’t receive it for 7 fucking days, ,THEN under pending transactions it says that i won’t receive it for 350 FUCKING DAYS, THEN I went to log out and log back in and now there’s a big FUCKING ERROR before I can even attempt to login.
