I actually see no problem with housing being built using cheap materials so long as the actual housing itself becomes dirt cheap to rent/buy
as a young man working on building up capital and studying I'd rather pay $150/month for a small cardboard box with some amenities than pay $700/month for a rock solid concrete apartment only so that bankers/boomers can collect more interest/rent
