Men should obviously care about starting a family too, but men can have children (almost) all their lives. Pic related for women. Even if a woman still can get pregnant at 40 yo (no guarantee) there's a much higher risk of birth defects, autism etc. And that's if she even can find a decent guy to start a family with at that age. A succesful/ wealthy 40 yo woman has less sexual market value than a a cute 22 yo waitress. Men don't care really care about how wealthy/ succesful women are. Men are attracted to fertility (youth) and attributes associated with being a good mother. A 40 yo woman can't compete with a 22 yo girl no matter what.
Women, on the other hand, are attracted to success, power, wealth, confidence etc. and want a guy their age or older. A decent looking succesful 35 yo guy has no problems finding a fertile 24 yo qt to setttle down with. a "succesful" 35 yo woman has to get VERY lucky to find a half-decent guy who hasn't been taken. Women have tons of sexual market value in their teens and early/mid 20s. It's life on easy mode. But after that it goes down hill very quickly. A lot of women don't realize this and think all the attention they're getting in their teens/ early 20s will last forever. It won't. Find a good guy while you're still young and fertile.
