1. A number of mainstream “experts” and generally people who are often wrong about general trends are all bullish on crypto in the long term. This should make you worried.

2. There are still no good or mainstream dApps years after general purpose blockchains came into existence. Also, before you scream “SCALING!”, while scaling is a problem, the fact is no useful, mainstream dApps have ever existed with enough usage that would warrant concerns about scaling.

3. Bitcoin and private versions of it (like Monero) seem to be the only useful usecases for the block chain, at the moment at least.

It’s possible regarding point 1 that I’m in an echo chamber and I also have pretty bad confirmation bias (meaning I’m ignoring all the people saying crypto is a scam/dead for good), but this really does feel different than the post 2013 bubble. We’ll see I guess.
