Been here since 06. It really was the wild west of the internet compared to now. Literal CP used to get posted on /b/. It's also amazing how much of the meme landscape of the world at large can trace it's genesis to this website. I doubt 4chan will ever get respect it deserves for that but probably all the better. It's a bit more tame these days but in many ways still the same. I remember people lamenting in 07 that the quality of 4chan had gone down. This meme is as true now as it was then.
