Yeah lol im just aggressively shitposting today. I know about WING's financials, i made a few Excel spreadsheets about their various financial metrics.
One thing I observed was WING raised $250M in debt capital in March 2022 at an interest rate of 3.7%....which is a REALLY good coupon on the debt. So that is the big reason why WING's liabilities went up so much in Q1 2022.

Look at cell F6 and then look at cell E6. The difference is stark — that reflects WING's debt offering.

I can't stop kek'ing at how upset you got when I stated the obvious truth about flyover life. It's just depressing and the food culture out there is conducive to obesity.

We live in a society where.

We live in a society where.

We live in a society where.

We live in a society where.

WING.

Look at cell F6 and then look at cell E6.

And then look at me. It's the debt they raised.

We live in a society where the Chicken Wing company can raise debt at a <4% Coupon.

I forgot pic, fuck me. Look at cell F6 and then look at cell E6. The difference is stark — that reflects WING's debt offering: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/wingstop-inc-completes-250-million-securitization-transaction-and-declares-special-dividend-of-4-00-per-share-301499793.html

So a big reason that WING went up recently is because they raised $250 million of capital through a debt raise. While debt is traditionally seen as a bad thing, if a company raises cash through debt at a really good financing rate and the market thinks the company will be able to allocate that capital effectively, raising debt is bullish.

WING raised $250M in debt capital in March 2022 at an interest rate of 3.7%....which is REALLY good. So that is a big reason why WING has gone ballistic recently.
