So many midwits on Reddit and Twitter assuming that UBS "bought the shares from the share offering."

GME raised cash from selling on the open market, it just so happens that UBS is now under the 10% rule for being counted as an insider for all the shares they're required to buy. People take one look at the UBS situation and say "WhY dId Rc SeLl ThEm ThE sHaReS?!?!" That's not what anyone has been saying and people jumping to emotional conclusions like that are taking the nuance out of a genius strategic play.

Or it's silly shillys pushing a narrative to sow division.
