If you follow Dave Ramsey's advice to a T, you're an idiot. His whole philosophy is built on the assumption that you're a retard and can't manage your money.

He unironically believes that you shouldn't have a credit score, though you need a good credit score to even be considered for a house. He assumes you can't pay your credit card bill in full for 0% interest.

He unironically believes young people are better off filling a wealthy landlord's pocket with $1,500 a month of rent for a 0% ROI. He thinks you're better off doing this than living with your parents and saving, and that you're better off doing this than having a $500 car payment which is still dumb but at least you increase your equity in your vehicle. He would rather see you line a landlord's pockets than help to pay off your parents' mortgage until you've saved enough to buy your own house.

Why do people follow this boomer retard's advice? Is it just consoomers who can't manage debt wisely?
