The GUI wallet gets a lot of hate, but its the most feature rich wallet out there. Even mroe so then Bitcoin cores wallet, since you can easily mine monero within the gui wallet. This is a very essential part of the Monero infrastructure, and should be for all cryptocurrencies in case of the worst possible event where an EMP like event wipes out half the worlds electronics/mining equipment.

plus, RandomX is going to destroy ASICs forever. In effect Monero will be more like the early days of Bitcoin.
