What happened?
This year bitcoin had a big rally which brought a tonne of normies on here from pol, facebook, youtube etc
Link also of course had a pretty big rally from mainnet and the google announcement, which brought in a metric fuckload of normies from reddit especially, hearing about the one place that was obsessed with link for years.
We're never getting back that same community as 2018 biz, it truly was something special and I'm glad I took so many screenshots to look through. The good side is that I feel basically free from 4chan at last, all boards have turned to shit
But yeah I will always miss the camaraderie, I will always remember my OG link brothers when I've made it on my yacht in the Greek islands

Based. 15k here and it's amusing seeing people selling significant portions so early. PSD2 absolute final deadline in September, Sergey himself said at the Gonser fireside chat that derivatives will be using link FIRST insurance later, this year, and staking isn't even live for the public yet.
The best part about holding through the 2018 slow dump is that I feel very little when it moons or dumps now, and at average buy in of 30c I really don't care if it drops to even sub $1 (very unlikely).

Yes it is pretty fascinating. I included a lot of the crazy/fud predictions to increase the randomness (apart from "0" and "100k") and still in every thread the mean was $300-$500 for 2020. Funny that this hive collective consciousness has chosen LINK and stuck with it from the ico, I think that says a lot too.

Most people in this thread were making predictions for 2020. If link had xrp's ATH mcap then it would be roughly $400 per token. I think we will have another bullrun in 2021 past previously ATHs and link will be top 10 for sure, top 5 maybe.
