Probably something close to pic related. How the Romans did was more bearable even though there was still corruption. It lasted for a millenium. People relate America to Rome but the two are obviously extremely different. The American empire is almost over (hopefully) after 250 years or so.

Honestly I'm in a constant state of being in and out of the SHTF scenario happening soon mentality. I already have a very sizable physical stash that I bought at the end of the year once I started to smell the smoke and going down the rabbit hole made those feelings much worse.
But I've tacked on the stress of a new job, investing in silver miners, real estate management and a whole other number of things and shit is just getting old. I would definitely a few months of peace before the storm.

It might be news to you since you're probably underage but companies don't usually trade for 1200 times what they actually earn like Tesla, either. The historical average for the S&P is somewhere around 15, yet you have many of the big name tech stocks trading at well over 35x earnings. Why? Is it because those companies can earn 35x more than they do now? Probably not. It's because of hype and a total lack of knowledge of the market. It's a bubble.

BHS and miners, not just juniors in general are on the opposite end of the spectrum right now. They've never been so undervalued, and just now picking up steam. Since we're talking about BHS, it still trades at less than what a producer would normally trade at and while they're /producing/, they're not classified as a /producer/ yet. Once the reevaluation happens, they'll be more in line with companies of their type.

It could be. I just looked up the term I was looking for: cold welding. It happens in space and when pressure is applied for long periods of time. Aurophilicity would definitely speed up the process though. Metals do have crystal structure which have a certain energy needed to break them down, but they are basically just a bunch of bucky ball magnets with varying strengths of attraction depending on the metal. They don't have strong bonds to other metal atoms, the electrons flow freely between them, that's why metals are conductive usually. This makes them malleable and they will deform slowly under a small amount of pressure for a long time or a lot of pressure for a small time
