You are missing the meat and potatoes of what that press statement says. It lays out that their strategic partnership revolves around Ripple buying stake in MoneyGram with money they gained from relentlessly dumping on you. And that the partnership does not revolve around using XRP or ODL.
They make a pretty clear fucking distinction that anything they may have said in the past or future is just them speculating on what these new technologies might be able to do and they do not use a potentially unregistered security to move their users funds.
