The simplest reason is that old fags dont like it's creators because paint it as the 'real' Bitcoin and try to lure unsuspecting investors to buy it instead of BTC.

The advanced reason is that its use case isn't that different from XRP, LTC, DASH, DGB etc which also offer faster payments for a fraction of a penny
