Of course I don’t need to win a beauty pageant, but for that cleanup mechanism to work I’d need to keep certain tolerances. Plus, I used up all my wood scraps for seat for my kid, and at current prices I’m close to buying a premade one anyways.
> And yes modern matting like ive posted previously helps make things easier but only by so much. Your sluice should at least be 1.5 ft long, and have at least 6 inches of break up space at the start of the sluice to allow your material to break down and wash properly without interfering with the rest of the sluice.
So, 2nd smallest size for most commercial ones at minimum, with a good flare (?) in front. Not sure about those inspection rubber some have on them at the start.
Guess something like pic related should be good enough.
