Watch out for the following scam:

>Buy item
>pay for item
>seller pulls up some shipping website and finds some random package due to arrive in your zip
>seller waits for a week or so
>seller plugs in that tracking number
>so basically it goes from "when will the seller ship it?" to "item delivered bam!"
>eBay then says the transaction is complete, your item has arrived, please leave feedback, yadda yadda
>eBay basically does nothing about it, has no plan to fix it, etc etc.

Good thing it was a $4 item I learned this lesson from. A lot of people try to make a big stink and blame the shipper, etc. Some people tried to blame whoever the item (not your item) was shipped to. But the trick is to look at the tracking number stats. The $4 item I mentioned earlier? Tracking number was actually FedEx and showed it delivered in front of some fancy house and weighing like 15 pounds, lol. So sellers are getting away with this crap.

Don't let them scam you, gents!
