I like how every moron automatically assumes immigration = brown criminals swarming your country. You could just do what America did from the 1800's to 1920's. Restrict immigration to mostly White Europeans, with a few exceptions for highly intelligent/entrepreneurial 2nd/3rd worlders, with very little or no welfare. The problem now is the massive welfare state and inflow of 3rd world criminals since the 1960's.

I've been a laborer in a plastic factory for almost 12 years.

Is it embarrassing? No, not really. Although sometimes I wish I would've went to college for economics, or buisness administration. A part of me wishes I was a financial advisor, or a manager at a local bank, but when you really get into the details, some of the shit they make you sell to customers really rubs me the wrong way and I'd probably end up being fired anyways. So instead I just invest as a hobby and do other stuff in my free time.

I have good benefits, 20 days of paid vacation, holidays off and overtime if/when I want it. The biggest problem is I live out in the rural midwest, the closest major city is about 1.5 hours away. My town is very boring (although safe) and the demographic is pretty old. The median household income is $56k, but most of the basic/starter homes are around $300k with almost no yard. My rent is about 2x - 3x cheaper than most mortgages. Even when the rates were at 3%, the mortgage on most homes with 20% down was like $1,600 a month.

Mine are:

-Buy assets, not liabilities.
-Don't go to college unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer, or computer training. (And you love it).
-Invest what you save.
-Make money in markets with high volatility.
-Enter slowly in small amounts to learn what you're doing.
-Understand market cycles.
-Don't get married unless you find a devoutly religious girl who is ok with a prenup.

What am I missing, and what's your strategy to make it?

There is no incentive. In fact, my company used to pay you more the harder you worked, but then they would penalize you for working too hard and reduce your incentive.

Now they recently got rid of it and just gave everyone a raise. The problem is the pay positions make no sense now. Our shift lead with more machine experience, more years and working longer hours was making less than a guy that worked for him and had been there for half the time. We literally have people that have been there for 5 years making more than people that have been there for 30 years.

I've literal been slacking off since they changed the way we got paid and nothing has happened to me. They can't even get people to stay for more than a few months anyways.

Your job is to maximize your pay while doing the least amount of work, it's not to kiss your employer's ass. Do the minimum you can get away with.

I'm entering my late 20s and very financially successful (for my europoor country). I'm starting to see even now that the tables are turning, some panic is starting in women from my school group who don't have a house or serious relationship yet, quite a lot have been in a relationship since around 18 and have just broken up.
Some women from school have contacted me out of the blue and asked me out, including one everyone knows slept around a load in uni kek.
I had a few relationships and flings between 17 and 20, but have been fully single since.
Idk bros, just feels strange.

I am considered “successful” at 30 but I’m not really any more hard working or intelligent than the average loser out there. I make low 300k’s in tech and have 1.4M net worth and I literally sleepwalked into this situation.

I only got in to this field because I was a video game addict at age 15 and wanted to learn programming to do game modding.

There was no direction in my early life, there were no conscious decisions to enter this career and make a lot of money, I didn’t know what the fuck I wanted in life and I didn’t even care about money at the time. I just happened to pick up programming because I was a shut in sperg with no friends and now I wake up every day with a Porsche in my driveway in a 1M house. All the other kids I grew up with who had my life trajectory, BUT they never got in to programming, are working at grocery stores and shit.

I’ve just been on autopilot since 15-16 and wound up in this position. I never made any tough choices since then, I just keep doing what I’ve been doing the whole time. When I see posts about people who are my age and still working the same shit tier job they had since college, I understand completely and think how unfair it is that they never got on a good trajectory in their early years

im sorry.... the whole market is down. its hard to pay bills and its understandable. we all think its going back up but if you have fluid income you can just invest after ur moment gets fixed. crypto is correcting and will go up. should have only been 25k rn anyway. its going up more steadily and now wall street is cold hands on us so they probly not going to mess with us anymore. we will rise and save the economy.
