Holding a sixpence from 1910 or 1940 and thinking that was someone like me in 1st grade. Scared, alone, hungry, and being dependent on those coins - and the amazing reality of at least THEIR coin held that value and I can use that today to obtain the same thing - is the root of my attraction.
I hold their coin and imagine it saw famine and bombs and births and deaths. Tears and joy.
People valued that coin back then and people value that coin today.
That's real money. That's what I want to impart to my kids.
I guess the crux of the question is
>Is hauling around 200oz of world coins for my life worth the appreciation in numismatics?
>much of it may well get melted down between now and then.
That's my case. 30 years ago, who cared about a peace dollar?
>i look at it like guns
Having been a gun dealer I see two perspectives
>Gen 2 Glock
It's worthless
>Mosin Nagant or K31
2-3X since ~ 2010
Silver is less radical, but in normie minds I expect would conjure comparisons to beanie babies or baseball cards
>Dad stacked silver? Psh, that was hot like 20 years ago. Whatever, loser. Does he have a Mark McGuire baseball card too? Hahahaha.

The "Starving Billionaire" is a play shouldn't need to be explained, but a play on the classic Zimbabwe sign

They're alright. Those 2 were my first ounces of gold and I was shocked (nearly embarrassed) at the small size. I recall being so excited ordering 2 ounces of gold for the first time - the first time I had ever ordered pure gold - only to be met with 2 small items the size of gumdrops and paying nearly $4,000 for it.
I was hooked though. I've been buying for 4+ years. I have my 10th ounce of gold in the mail.

>convert everything to XMR
>avoid paying taxes
Inflation is a tax on savers. They don't want you in XMR as they can't hyper inflate.
Gambling on dog coins, well I can sort of see their point. Sort of in the fact, that you might trade on the upside, or win a lottery. With the state being the thief side, they can only offer to take.
