most of the big tech stocks like amazon etc. have had 90% drawdowns over the years,
that's why handful of people have become wealthy over them most sell their first big win and sell the first drawdowns that's enough money to make for them

but hedge strategy the purpose is to level out dd's. if you are very good trader and trade weekly or daily then it become easier to limit maxdd to under 20% for sure. longer hold means bigger possible for bigger dd always
