learn some basic chords and how to read TAB (dead easy), learn easy tunes on ultimate-guitar.com, and then try to learn some easy songs by ear.
Rocksmith and Yousician are ok for learning slightly more complicated stuff but you miss out on a lot of ear training. All of the greats transcribed music by ear, and that’s what they get you to do at reputable music schools like Berklee and Juilliard.
