I owe 2,800 to my credit card company.

I have no money, job, or assets.

Should I default on it?

I'm in the same boat as a lot of the people in this thread.

At 22 years old, I just finished my degree - a bachelor of arts majoring in writing at a shit-tier university. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I finished high school so I just started a bachelor of arts and picked the subjects I though looked interesting with no real direction until my second year.

Before I finished I decided I wanted to go into the military so I started that process. I've been recommended as a Marine technician in the RAN but unfortunately the ADF hates straight white men and will take literally anyone over such a privileged guy like me. I'll likely be waiting till 2018 to get in.

Don't really know what I'm going to do for the rest of the year, or if I will even want to go into the navy by the time I get my offer. I've had lots of experience doing shitty minimum wage jobs but I've never had a real job and that makes me nervous to apply for one.

I'm even considering blowing off the navy and going back to uni to study something worthwhile like a double degree in econ/law or econ/finance but I'm not sure if I want to go back to the uni lifestyle.
