How do you even invest in physical copper? If you buy copper wire, pipes or plates you have to pay VAT here which is 25% and then of course the factory that made the wire and plates want to profit so they're not selling at spot either.

I can get 1 kg copper wire for about 30 dollars. It just seems too expensive to buy as an investment, you're paying way too much over spot.

But that's what I'm saying: seems pointless to go for 100 oz silver bars when you can get gold coins for a lower price.

>How common is it to find 24k gold jewelry at coin shops?
Not very common. The problem 24k gold has is that's it's very soft so pure gold jewelry gets easily damaged. When people have 24k gold coins they keep them in plastic casings while 22k gold coins like the American Gold Eagle is just more resistant to wear and tear.
