There are these attempts at solving the shower-bath dilemma but I don't think it has been properly solved yet.
You can technically shower and bathe in walk-in bathtubs, but I believe you have to close them first before you can turn them on, it will be awkward to just sit or lie there while the bath still has to fill up.
But when you do want to shower, they feel more like a shower.
It's kind of weird that they have not managed to solve this problem yet, the only solution still seems to be to get a larger bathroom.
