Why do you think Flare has come out with these really cool teasers and even had open beta testing? And why do you think all of the exchanges provided Spark? If Flare was to be this exclusive thing, then why did all the exchanges, HELL EVEN COINBASE, go along with the Spark airdrop?

Because they NEED a base of supporters ready to go when Flare goes live, they need people ready to provide liquidity on Flare. Remember Flare is the bridge between XRP, XLM and basically the entire financial system. They absolutely 100% need retail investors, at least in the very beginning to provide support for the system.
