how are people feeling about the ten year yield rn? looking back at my portfolio over the past month, its really clear that I should have exited most of my holdings into cash the moment the 10 year yield bounced back up from 1% and definitely should have exited them when it broke through 1.2%, but that fucking massive candle spike to 1.614% today got me shook as fuck and I finally sold out of everything and went 100% cash going into the weekend. I either sold the bottom, or if we see the 10 year yield bounce off the 1.4-1.5% range again and start trending upward or start spiking like fucking crazy like that 1.6% spike, I sold out right before most of my holdings fall off an absolute fucking cliff.

im normally a never panic sell and buy the dip guy but when I saw that spike to 1.6% i freaked the fuck out real fast. if we see the ten year yield drop back below 1.4% i'm going to re-enter some of those positions cautiously and if we drop down below 1.2% again I'm going back to raging bull mode but from where I was looking at it looked like either I sell now and miss out on some gains on the recovery if it happens or I hold and risk taking a fucking massive loss (considering most of my positions are leveraged) maybe even blowing up my whole account if spikes like that keep happening.
