Truth. Most of my stops hit today, protecting my gains. Maxibulls will call me paper hands but whatever.

This is inevitable. Before the pandemic, I spent some time in France and Italy, and this type of attitude is pervasive. Everyone wants more entitlements for less work, and people just see it as normal. Millenials and Gen Z have gone to college, received their useless degrees, can't get or hold high-paying jobs, and so resign themselves to mediocrity with the attitude: "society owes it to me! UBI!" Uber drivers in France would tell me: "Americans live to work, but we French work so that we can live!" In other words, do a half-assed job (when actually on the job) and take a quarter of the year off in paid vacation time. They may see us as "culturally" behind them because we value meritocracy (protestant work ethic bull shit), but we are now increasingly feeling the same way about China. The common thread here, and this has been said infinity times, is this is just the story arc of civilization development and decline. Eurofags are ahead of us on the curve and look at them now. A civilization in decline. We're looking at China like WTF, they're going to control the global economy by outworking everyone with their 996 schedule and whatever. But mark my words, this shit will eventually be their undoing too. We all know that China can't persist as this schizophrenic communist-capitalist centrally controlled economy. So which way do they break? Do they end up rolling into a more Western-style society or do they just collapse and reset? It doesn't really matter, because across the ocean Americans will be sipping onions while slipping into lazy Eurofag socialism.

I'm in on UUUU because the fucking retards here talked me into it but as far as I can tell it's going nowhere fast. If it is in fact a train, as far as I can tell, it hasn't left the station yet.

This. I had been thinking about taking a big position in BABA before all this news, but now, too high risk to buy stock. I'm leaning toward buying an OTM LEAP after the market opens and it bottoms out.
