is bcash proof that sha-256 mining is actually decentralized? until now really the only flaw with bitcoin core so far that was life threatening was the possibility that 50% of the hashpower was long-term controlled by one party (bitmain). the danger being that if one actor did control this much, even if they were benevolent, their government could show up and take it potentially. does their failure to launch bcash signal that this is not actually the case? with the amount of bags they supposedly hold, wouldn't they have used all they controlled to mine on bcash? is bitcoin core mining actually long term decentralized now ?
