How to cope? I rage sold some cryptos in 2019 that ended up being worth over 100m.

I then put them in shitcoins that ended up losing me money. I won’t mention the projects.

Anyone else fucked up as badly as me here?

I am in the process of contract negotiation with a karate organization that seeks to employ me as a teaching assistant at one of their locations.

The issue I have is within the contract is a non-compete clause for the whole county (~60 square miles) that last 3 years after the termination of employment. Covering basically teaching martial arts anywhere within the county during employment with the company and 3 years after, with the agreement of paying them 70 dollars a day for each day in violation of the contract.

This is the first time I have ever even personally seen a non compete clause and I am both disgusted and horrified by it.
The company owner has expressed willingness to negotiate terms but I am unsure on how I should approach this so I am looking for advice and second opinions.

So thoughts on my situation in particular or non compete clauses in general?

Image totally unrelated.
