can someone tell me what the fucking point of expensive watches is? you dont even fucking use them to tell time anymore

the only way i see it making sense if youre like a rockstar or rich as fuck and making 60k a day and you wanna do that but its fine. it just seems so god damn stupid. people pay like 400k for watches and shit you could literally get a fucking condo for that price. literally a second house somewhere on the beach and go visit whenever you want. why the fuck do people spend 100-400k on a watch? when you have to notice the money or save up for it you dont need a fucking watch
