/biz/ newfag here. Started paying attention to CL and now understand exactly what I hold after months of research. It eats me alive that I wasn't paying attention in 2018 when I could have bought it for pennies. Am I going to make it with my slightly sub 1500 link stack...which is all I could afford once I finally understood? Being certain of the life-changing liquidity event I'm about to be directly exposed to but not knowing if I have enough to never have to work in an office again is AGONIZING.

What do you honestly think? I don't even care about a specific price prediction, because triple digits is assured based on speculative value alone in my mind.

Then China invades Taiwan, or the Russians lose patience and use a tactical nuke somewhere in Ukraine, or fucking Tether implodes. Whatever it is, the final card in the increasingly desperate old system's hand is played in a terminal effort to stop the internet of money from being brought online.

The price of everything instantly drops 90%. Global markets crash. CL is $1.50 in an hour, and you've been liquidated. It's apocalyptic.

Then the next day CCIP and staking are brought online, and the price of link becomes $1,000 overnight due to sheer supply/demand dynamics fundamentally changing. Then to $10,000 as all the world's private blockchains are linked together and money begins to move between banks and countries, which is secured by the network you possessed significant ownership of in just days ago. Over time all trading of public and private securities in all countries moves on-chain, and global markets are unified. Five years go by. You can now buy and sell equities, bonds, currencies from anywhere in the world and without the need for any brokers, because you hold your assets yourself digitally.
