Why did/does all the shady politicians and banks choose bitcoin to create "stable" coins and fraud exchanges around to launder all their money around when they could just use monero? Really they only had bitcoin and mt gox up to 2014 or so then xmr was around since 2014. The '17 run was just ICO and defi trash then '21 was just PPP and covid waterfall. Are they just afraid of hitting some buttons and making a xmr worth 20k in a few months? You would think with their top tech nerd connections they wouldn't go around using a public ledger and painfully obvious sketchy island banks. Or are they just that arrogant and dont give a shit?

You realize if gemini or coinbase has an FTX scenario the entirety of the crypto "industry" (if there is one) would completely die off for a decade and then some? Binance could blow up and CZ could go on the run and the crypto space wouldn't give as big a shit? Gemini is one of the more secure anchors exchange of the shitmess and it going down would send btc to low 4 digits in less then a week from the panic knowing a NY southern district legally signed off business isn't stable. Amazing how this board has so much faith in CZ being some important figure to crypto development over US exchanges with US legislation backing them.

Why would a republican administration ever want energy independence? They are proven defense spending wasters so the concept of independent energy is a nightmare. Four years of trump being weak on ukraine and national defense is at risk. Republicans are just itching to get back in power to use it as an excuse for ramped up defense spending and tax loopholes for foreign oil.
